Residents Attend Cabinet Meeting

RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION UPDATE

FROM THE CABINET MEETING HELD ON 9TH OF FEBRUARY 2011 at Newcastle under Lyme Borough Council.

The council leader apologised to the residents present for the way the Council had handled the proposed sale of Clayton Road, Repton and Winchester. They need to be more open in the future.

(BIT LATE THAT FOR US!)

He stated on viewing the outline planning proposal that he could see two reasons for refusal!

He also stated that not all of the Clayton Road green space would be developed.

(IF THAT IS THE CASE WHY IS THE WHOLE SITE IDENTIFIED ON THE LETTER SENT TO A FEW RESIDENTS IN LATE JANUARY)

THE RESIDENTS GROUP NOTED THE CHANGE FROM THE PUBLISHED AGENDA OBTAINED BY US OVER A WEEK AGO. HAD DELETED REFERENCE TO LAND AT MAYBANK, SEABRIDGE AND CLAYTON.

WONDER WHOSE WARDS THESE ARE IN?

KEEP LOOKING FOR UPDATES AND SHARE WITH THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE WEB ACCESS.

WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON THE PLANNING CRITERIA OBJECTIONS, HOPEFULLY NEXT WEEK.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF THE CAUSE. YOUR OBJECTIONS ARE STRONGER THAN EVER AND GROWING
